If you are on Medicaid in Michigan and are pregnant or have an infant under the age of 12 months, you qualify. In some instances, your infant may still be able to enroll if they are over 12 months of age and they have special needs or certain medical conditions.

No. MIHP services can be provided for an infant beneficiary, no matter who the legal caregiver is, including foster care.

No. The MIHP Program is completely covered by your Medicaid or Medicaid Health Plan.

Not in all instances. MIHP is a home visiting program; however, MIHP does allow for some visits to be conducted via telehealth.

Yes, transportation is covered by Medicaid for any medical services, including but not limited to MIHP, WIC, Mental Health (Counseling), Doctor visits (OBGYN and PEDS), and dental.
